How do you spell idyllic?  It would appear that it is spelled Maupihaa!  The locals are incredibly friendly. The beaches are sandy, and the water is calm and clear. We have the volleyball court set up in about 1 foot of water, and are enjoying diving on the 1917 wreck of the Sea Adler.  The locals arrive with coconut crabs all cooked and ready to eat, and fresh lobster that they grabbed off the reef. They will not accept anything for their wonderful gifts, and appear to be just very pleased with being able to share their wonderful piece of paradise with everyone.

I am not sure if we can ever leave. Other boats have not been able to drag themselves away for over a month, with only a couple of days-stay planned.
