We are planning on heading off to the land of volcanos tomorrow morning. First though we are unloading about 1.5 tons of food at this lovely village. It is so nice to see a people who are completely self sufficient. They typically live and thrive on what they grow and catch from the ocean. The hurricane knocked out all their crops, and it takes about 3 months to get things going again. So this is the food that needs to tide them over for the next few months until their crops start producing again. Great hard working people who are not looking for help, or asking for help, but happy to have some food until things get going again.
